Titans close out six-game road trip on Thursday

Date:

The Ottawa Titans’ bats went silent on Wednesday.

The visitors were blanked 7-0 by the Tri-City ValleyCats (24-15), marking the third time this season a pitcher has had posted a complete game shutout of the Titans (14-26).

Ottawa took game one of the series on Tuesday 3-2, though sit last in the Frontier League’s North Division. The two division winners and the two teams with the best records who didn’t win their division qualify for the playoffs.

The Titans finish their six-game road trip against the Valley-Cats Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Troy, N.Y. The squad return home for their final series of June with a pre-Canada Day long weekend clash against the New Jersey Jackals on Friday.

All the action can be heard on CKDJ 107.9 and 94,5 Unique FM and live-streamed on Frontier League TV, powered by HomeTeam Network.
