Colts complete perfect weekend to stay atop of Central Divsion

Date:

Nothing is slowing down the Barrie Colts.

Barrie went 2-0 last weekend, downing the equally red-hot Ottawa 67’s 4-1 on Friday before completing the Eastern Ontario swing with a 2-1 win over Kingston on Saturday.

The Colts sit in second place in the ultra-competitive OHL Eastern Conference, 10 points behind Brantford, and five points clear of the nearest team in the Central Division.

Up next for the Colts is a game tonight against the Western Conference’s Owen Sound Attack. Barrie completes the weekend on Saturday with a interconference tilt against the Niagara Ice Dogs.
