Baycats look to snap three-game skid

Date:

The Barrie Baycats are hoping some time at home wakes up their bats.

The Baycats return to the diamond on Saturday to take on Brantford Red Sox, hoping to snap a three-game losing streak. Over that span, the Baycats (7-9) only brought in nine runs while allowing 21.

The skid has seen the defending IBL champs fall to seventh place in the nine-team league.

Brantford (3-14) sits dead last in the league, four games behind the Baycats.

Saturday’s game at Barrie’s Athletic Kulture Stadium is set for 4:05 p.m.
