67’s become first OHL team to win 30 games

Date:

The Ottawa 67’s have become the first OHL team to win 30 games this season.

The team hit the milestone over the weekend, where they took both games in a home-and-home series against their cross-river rivals, the Gatineau Olympiques.

Ottawa wrapped up the weekend by downing the Peterborough Petes 5-2 on Sunday, and now sit top of the conference, holding a one-point lead over division rival Brantford.

Next up for Ottawa is a game at home on Saturday afternoon against Oshawa.
