Rovers return home looking to gain ground in League 1 title race

Date:

The Simcoe County Rovers are heading back to Barrie this weekend as they remain in a tight race for top spot in League 1 Ontario.

The city’s top soccer squad plays host to Sigma FC on Saturday looking to build on a two-game winning streak, and draw closer to league-leading Woodbridge.

The Rovers, who won the league championships in 2023, currently sit seven points out of first place, though Woodbridge has two games in hand.

Kickoff at J.C. Massie Field is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Tickets are available at roversfc.ca.
