Cart deliveries start June 16 for the Monday (A & B) collection area!
Garbage and organics carts will be delivered to the driveways of residential properties from
June to August. You don’t need to sign for them, and you don’t need to be home when they are delivered.
Your estimated delivery window is based on your curbside collection area. Properties in the
Monday (A & B) collection area will have their carts delivered between June 16 and 27. Your carts may arrive any weekday within your delivery window.
Once your carts arrive, don’t use them yet! Remove them from the curb and store them until collection begins the week of September 8.

City exploring creation of Conservation Trust
Mayor Alex Nuttall has signed an executive order to begin work on a Conservation Trust to
protect lands around Little Lake and other sensitive areas in Barrie. Staff will report back with a framework, budget, and list of lands by 2026.
The Trust would ensure these areas remain protected for future generations. The City is also asking residents which lands – such as Ardagh Bluffs or Sunnidale Forest – should be
considered.
