67’s keeping pace in competitive Eastern Conference

The Ottawa 67’s are keeping pace in the competitive Eastern Conference, ending the last weekend of play on an even keel.

The 67’s started the weekend on a down note by falling 4-1 to Barrie at home, but rebounded with an offensive blowout on Saturday, taking down the Peterborough Petes 8-5.

Ottawa sits second in the Eastern Division, three points behind leader Brantford, which is also the top team in the conference and league.

While Ottawa has seven more points than Barrie, the 67’s sit behind them in the conference in third place. This is because Barrie sits in first in the Central Division.

Up next for the 67’s is a game tonight on the road against the Oshawa Generals. Ottawa completes the weekend on Sunday with a home game against the Windsor Spitfires.
