67’s beat Spitfires to extend win streak to four

Date:

The Ottawa 67’s are flying high after downing the Windsor Spitfires 2-1 on Sunday.

It marks the fourth consecutive win for the 67’s, who sit in second in the ultra-competitive East Division, behind only the league-leading Brantford Bulldogs.

Earlier in the weekend, Ottawa took down the Oshawa Generals 4-1.

The 67’s are third in the conference despite having more points than the second-place Barrie Colts. This is because the Colts are division leaders.

Next up for Ottawa is a tilt against the Peterborough Petes at home on Friday. They wrap up the weekend play on home ice against the Bulldogs on Saturday.
