67’s back to their winning ways

Date:

The Ottawa 67’s are back to their winning ways.

After dropping four of five games earlier in February, Ottawa closed out the month and started March last weekend on a roll, picking up points in all three games, all of which were played on the road.

Ottawa started the weekend of play on Thursday by rolling past Saginaw 8-2. The 67’s then lost a close one in shootout to Flint on Saturday before soaring past Sarnia 5-0 the next day.

The 67’s stay away from home to start out the weekend by heading to Peterborough on Thursday to play the Petes. They finally return to Ottawa on Saturday to play Brampton before closing the weekend at home against the Petes.

Ottawa has already clinched a playoff spot and sits third in the Eastern Conference.
