Colts start 2026 far ahead in the OHL’s Central Division

The Barrie Colts are starting the new year on a high note.

The Colts sit in second in the OHL’s Eastern Conference, winners of seven of their last 10 games.

Barrie leads the Central Division by 10 points over the North Bay Battalion.

Barrie started 2026 with a mixed bag, taking down Kitchener 3-2 in a shootout on Jan. 2 before falling 5-4 to Niagara in overtime the next night.

Next up for Barrie is a trek to Guelph to take on the Storm on Friday. The Colts return to Barrie the next night to host Brampton before ending the weekend in Oshawa to face the Generals.
