Colts eye top spot in Eastern Conference as regular season comes to a close

The end of the regular season is rapidly approaching and the Barrie Colts have their eyes on the top seed in the OHL’s Eastern Conference.

The Colts entering weekend play three points behind Brantford for first place, and having already clinched a playoff spot.

On deck this weekend is a game Thursday night across the border in Michigan against Western Conference foe Saginaw. From there, the Colts head to Sault Ste. Marie to take on the Greyhounds on Friday before taking a trip to Sudbury to face off against the Wolves on Sunday.

The Colts wrap up the regular season on March 22.
