The City of Barrie is declaring an end to the significant weather event.

The city made the order over the weekend as Barrie faced severe snowfall and plunging temperatures.

But on Monday, the city declared the significant weather event to be over, allowing for the resumption of the standard timeline for road and sidewalk winter maintenance.
